A fire broke out at 19:38 p.m. on Jan. 8 at ChoLam Lamb Restaurant located in Chungju's Muhak Market, but it was put out early.

It is believed to have caught fire due to oil splashing out while cooking, and Smartcol (WIreless Fire Detection System) installed in the store detected heat and smoke, sent text messages and audio to fire departments, market officials and owner, and suppressed the fire before it spread significantly to prevent a major fire.

This fire suppression showed how important it is to put out a fire within golden time before it grows.
